The turnarounds by Miami, Baltimore and Atlanta, plus the late-season pushes by San Diego and Philly, have me looking forward to this year's playoffs despite my team not being involved.

I honestly can't pick who is heading to Tampa.

Panthers I can see, and would probably pick if I had to right now. Probably would lean toward the Titans in the AFC at this point.

I can't imagine the Eagles being shut out, especially not by that team.

I don't want to think that, either, but Philly, I think, put it all on the table today.

Now they go into a bitch of a stadium to play in, against a team that finally made it over the hump into the playoffs by beating the Super Bowl champions, and bring the 3-year-running best run defense to the game. I see them humping the shit out of Philly's offense and doing just enough to put a few points on the board.

They did beat the Giants on the road three weeks ago.

X, the Vikings needed Carney to miss a FG with a few minutes left and then needed a 50-yard FG AT THE GUN to beat a Giants team that had nothing to play for and was playing ninth-stringers.

I'm usually reluctant to pick teams that had to empty the tank to reach the playoffs, but the Vikings are the second-worst team in the field behind only the Cards. Iggles by two TDs at least.

I like the Falcons, Chargers, Ravens and Eagles.
Then ... Giants over the Eagles, Panthers over the Falcons, Titans over Ravens, Chargers over Steelers...
Chargers over Titans, Panthers over Giants
    Panthers over Chargers.
