Who would have guessed that Eli (13) has more TDs than Peyton (11), even playing 1 more game?

The League has decided to streamline the draft a little, so we don't have th 6 hour 8 minute first round of a year ago.

10 minutes between first round picks, only two rounds opening day, starting at 3 p.m. instead of noon.

I know ESPN is the hype machine -- but do we have to start talking about New England-Indy yet? And how great would it be if Washington and Carolina or even just one of them, pulled the "upset" this weekend and ruined DJ Stuey Scott and company's wet dreams about two undefeated teams playing in week 9.....

And one of the best exchanges of the weekend was when Steve Young basically bitch-slapped DJ Stuey by saying "it isn't nearly as big of a game to the players during the regular season as you are making it out to be. It is one game, the games that count are in the playoffs."

DJ Stuey couldn't grasp that concept.
