    Seahawks over Redskins
    Jaguars over Steelers
    Giants over Bucs
    Chargers over Titans

It's really funny that finally I'm seeing some people pick the Steelers after a week of hype about the Jaguars.

I just don't see why. The Steelers were toast the minute they lost Aaron Smith. Not only is he their best lineman, but the replacements just aren't particularly good.

I agree with TSP that Pittsburgh must put up a lot of points to win this one. Aside from getting trampled by the Jags' running game, the Steelers' biggest problem the last time around was at left tackle. Marvel Smith tried to play with a back injury and gave up four sacks. Once Max Starks replaced him, the protection improved and the Steelers rallied.

Problem is they lost Starks for the year last week, leaving third-stringer Trai Essex to protect Roethlisberger's blind side. Jacksonville does not have a great pass rush, but Essex is going to have to give Roethlisberger more of a chance this time around than Smith did last time for Pittsburgh to win.

Oh, and it would be good if the defense would remember how to tackle.

I hate to say it, but I just don't see that happening.

I'd just like to see him go out on top. He deserves it.

How does he sound like me, jackass?
He's been spouting this NFL is a one-team league crap for weeks. I haven't.
I'd like nothing better than to see the Pats choke and I still think they will.

The two absolutist statements reminded me of you on a few different threads.

No harm intended, just pointing out a similarity in styles is all.

Holy crow. That was a nice run-back by Smoot on Alexander's fumble -- if it was a fumble.
