Saw a mock draft earlier that had the Cowboys trading back into the first round and taking Connor Cook -- ahead of Lynch, who will be an interesting case. I've seen him going anywhere from 8-31.

Maybe not this year, but if the 49ers suck for two more years, I assume someome other than the head coach is going to take the fall. The guy picking the shitty players would be near the top of the list.

I don't know if I would put Goff in the top 5 of Cal QBs heading into a draft and he may go no. 1. Amazing. Though if Goff has a Bartkowski - like career I'm sure the Rams would be thrilled.

He's definitely going to be fired one of these years, though!

Saw an interesting, although potentially meaningless, stat today: 64 percent of the Cal first-rounders (since 2000, I believe) have been to the Pro Bowl.

I have faith that Chip Kelly can pull off another coup.

Charlie Casserly was on the radio this morning going on and on raving about how "Carson Wentz is the next Joe Flacco!"

When did that become a thing?

    So Carson Wentz is ELITE?

Lazy comparison I've heard numerous times. Wentz and Flacco both played at FCS schools and they're both tall; therefore, they're similar!

Right. I also wasn't aware Flacco was so transcendent that we need a next one already.

He's tall, white and won a Super Bowl. What else do you want?

Casserly has been a raving lunatic for years.
