    Well done.

This insipid "axiom" has long needed to be blasted to pieces.

On average, an NFL running back will lose a fumble once every 100 carries.

The best QBs will throw an interception twice every 100 attempts. That is not counting WRs fumbling the ball after the catch and fumbling the ball while being sacked.

So if you want to turn the ball over three times as much as another team, keep dropping back to pass.

I had a coach tell me once that six or seven things can go wrong when you pass. Only two or three things can go wrong when you run.

So if you can run, then you run.

    IF you can run.

And if you can't, then you are Fouts, Moon, Marino, etc...

And somehow getting criticized for it.

No slight to them, but it proves that you cannot throw the ball 45 times a game and expect to win a championship.

No matter how much regular season passing stats grow, running in January wins the games that count the most.

Primarily because it is likely that the weather will be shitty.

Both Cardinals games have been in excellent weather, and they have thrown it all over the yard.

Cards were 28/32 rush pass against the Falcons and 43/32 against the Panthers. So they have tried more runs than passes this post season.

The statistics on the game against the Panthers is misleading. That game was over at halftime. They took charge of that game in the air.

One of the reasons rushing statistics favor winning teams is they are often protecting a lead while losing teams often have to abandon the run to catch up.
