All the models have that northward tick. It's just a matter of how far south it is when it makes the turn.

The farther south it goes, the more likely it'll slam into the islands and weaken itself.

We don't want this thing spinning unchecked up the Hudson River.

This is the Andrew route, correct?

I'm pretty sure we can take the soon-to-be off the thread title

    A bit.

It took another northern tick at 5 a.m.

I don't like the looks of this one. I know I'm tired of bring in all the patio furniture, than taking it back out, bringing it in, taking it out. I'm leaving it out; if lands in someone's yard in Tupelo, enjoy it.

Broward County is now squarely in the crosshairs.

How we've gotten three pages and several days into this without someone photoshopping Ike Turner's head onto the storm is beyond me and, quite frankly, disappointing.

    Someone call Central Illinoisan.

If there is a town called Tina, Florida the residents should be very, very worried.

I've been a little uneasy about this one. Now I'm a few days away from frantic. I might be packing this weekend. Those in Miami best start packing now.

Who knows where the hell this fucker will go right now.

Three models have it curling north and (possibly later) away from the coast (hallelujah!). But two skirt past Key West into the Gulf, and that one still has a hard-on for Fort Lauderdale. That one is an outlier, but that doesn't make it any less scary-looking. If it takes that route, there's little that's gonna slow it down.

Another thing I've been noticing: The GFDL model always seems to have a built-in Central Gulf bias.
