I'm glad the Constitution allows these fellows to arms themselves enough so that they think they can start a race war.

I am also glad for these hillbillies to have all their guns, I have to give up my privacy on the Freedom Act thing, but it's a small price compared with letting these imbeciles run wild with AK-47s.

 

My question is why the fuck would she be carrying it in her purse and not on a holster.

Mom and a friend were being great moms on Sunday afternoon, drinking wine and vodka, like all good parents with small parents do on Sunday evening. Bady dad arrives, wanting to be reimbursed for buying diapers and wipes, because he needed the money to buy weed. Baby dad shoots mom the next day after they resumed arguing Monday morning.

Shooting at a veteran's home in California. Vet singled out three women, shot and killed them, then took his own life.

One week ago tonight the big local news was one killed, another wounded in a high school shooting.

Tonight it is an active shooter at UAB Highlands Hospital. The UAB Police have just lifted the shelter in place order. Two victims shot, status unknown, shooter is down. Highlands is a smaller auxiliary hospital which is primarily an orthopedic center. It's not the main UAB University which covers five or six blocks downtown. Little information as yet. Police still have the area sealed off, and are conducting a full search of the building to be certain that there is not another shooter in hiding.

We heard about it when my wife picked up her ipad and it was all over Facebook. She's pretty disgusted because probably half of the posts are to the effect that it happened because hospitals are gun free zones, and if more people were armed there it wouldn't have happened, yadda yadda. We've both used the ortho group on the second floor of this building, as well as other physicians there. It hits kinda close to home.

 

Congratulations to the 185,000 (?) students [Students across U.S. protest 'inaction' on guns with school walkout] who participated in the national walkout to protest gun violence. I'm heartened to see the next generation of kids mobilize to send their message that the status quo is not acceptable.

 

What did the typical student do who was a gun enthusiast and OK with our gun laws? Stay in the building? Walk out anyway so as not to be ostracized?

Would like to read that story.
