I think you're right about 59 being out of reach, but I don't think him ending up with a 62, maybe 61, is out of the question here.

You may be onto something. Tiger birdies No. 1

  3. I thought this was going to be about Norman and his abilty to choke away yet another major.
Saw where he's got the lead at the US Senior Open. Anyone wanna take bets he doesn't win?

Hmmm, Woods had six feet for birdie on the third, but it slid by.

That putt may have cost him a 59. Or a 60.

tiger went 72-61 (or something like that ... no research time) here a couple years ago. This is not new news for El Tigre.

He's hit it stiff at four, two feet away according to shot tracker.

I think the shot tracker is glitching up. He's been given a four on four, and there's no shot chart available.

Yeah. Irritating. No way he missed a two footer.

With this string of stupid pars, Tiger's in line for a 63 or 64 probably. Lame. :)

It seems like the pin positions on the front are a lot more tucked in than on the back.

Yeah. Some of them look pretty brutal.

Edit: He went after a tough pin placement on No. 6 and got it to within 12 feet. Not bad.
