Running bowl season thread

That's been the case with past Hawaii Bowls when Hawaii was one of the teams, but this year it's Boise State and East Carolina.

 

And it's going to suck!

Also, the Humanitarian Bowl is often a home game for Boise State.

 

Yeah, I'd be stunned if East Carolina gives Boise State much of a game.

 

Broncos are missing their top reciever, Jeremy Childs, who's suspended, and Ian Johnson is gimpy, but Ian's always gimpy and Childs has missed other games this year. It's gonna be ugly, unless Taylor Tharp decides to take off and start surfing in the middle of the game.

 

I'll be disappointed if Boise State doesn't pull off at least one or two trick plays. The bar is high after that Fiesta Bowl game.

 

And considering Boise played in Hawaii about a month ago, I wonder how many fans will make the trip.

 

I'm off to Vienna with wife and child for 4 days.

Must be the new color of the Pirates' jerseys. At least, new to someone who remembers them wearing a darker shade, like their helmets.

I'm sure BSU fans were thrilled to see June Jones' big mug on the screen during one of their games, too, althoughh I understand the tie-in.

 

Consider yourself stunned.

 

Well, it doesn't look like much of a game.

 

It's turning into quite a game.

 

i love all the bowls

i like seeing odd matchups, teams i've never seen or you don't see every week.

and i've enjoyed just about every bowl trip i've made to go cover a bowl
