Running bowl season thread

Nominee for Most Uninformed Television Commentary, and I wouldn't mention this had I not heard it myself:

John Saunders, during the Rutgers-Ball State broadcast, recapping the bowl season.

"Of course, (Rich Rodriguez's) former quarterback Pat White had a big day, but West Virginia did not."

On what planet is a 48-28 rout of Oklahoma not a big day?

And what about Oklahoma and Virginia Tech? Sure they stunk it up in their bowl games, but they had as good a case as anybody heading in.

 

Virginia Tech didn't have as good a case as the following: LSU, OSU, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, USC...

 

I threw in Va. Tech because they were ACC champs and were in that whole pack of Nos. 2 through 8, any one of which you could have made a case for. Their blowout loss to LSU pretty much nixed them right off the bat, though.

GMAC Bowl tonight - Tulsa by 5 and a half over Bowling Green, with Over/Under at 76 and a half

BCS Title Game Monday - LSU by 4 and a half over Ohio State, with Over/Under at 48 and a half
