The guy the Cubs could have signed to play shortstop in the offseason breaks Derrek Lee's wrist in a collision at first base.

Oh wait, they've already done that one.

Turn down a Mark Prior for Miguel Tejada deal.

    Damn, they've done that too...

The blood is in the water, Cubs fans.

Sheets just left the game in the fourth with what appears to be a finger/knuckle injury.

Yahoo! says it is a blister on his pitching hand.

Yahoo appears to be wrong, unless the TV picture is lying.

I am sure the TV picture is more true, but this is what Yahoo has at the bottom of the box:

MILWAUKEE PITCHER BEN SHEETS LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE FOURTH INNING WITH AN APPARENT BLISTER ON HIS RIGHT MIDDLE FINGER.

Sheets had a blister issue a few months ago, but as lantaur said the TV cameras caught the trainer tugging on his finger and Sheets cringing with each tug.

It has nothing to do with strage occurrences...they will choke like the dogs they are!

That doesn't sound good. Wonder what it is? A tendon issue maybe?

It appears to be a knuckle injury. And don't ever call me melock again. :)
