    Who are you, Chris Berman?

  2. Perish the thought.

  3. and the Phils need to save all this doggone energy for the rest of the series. 13 runs, 23 hits, sheesh.

This Nats-Marlins game simply will not end.

Ryan Langerhans looked like he was going to need oxygen rounding second on the way to a triple.

He and Peavy are the two pitchers I make sure I see when given the chance. A buddy of mine lives in Rochester, Minn., and he doesn't watch Johan in person each start. I still don't know why he doesn't.

I will watch Johan Santana pitch every chance I get.

But nothing in my lifetime will match watching Sandy Koufax. The only thing close was Dwight Gooden in 1985.

Saw the last few innings of the Giants' 9-1 loss to the Dodgers tonight.

San Francisco might be the worst baseball team I have ever seen.

What about Guidry '78 or Martinez '99?

Saw a lot of Guidry '78. not enough of Pedro '99.

Guidry '78 was not Sandy at his best nor Doc in '85.

Come on now, HB, they won two-out-of-three or swept - can't remember - the best team in baseball the Yankees. Those motherfuckers can't even beat the Devil Rays. You idiots win tonight and you gain a game on the Red Sox later, instead you lose to the Devil Rays! The Devils Rays!

    That's hyperbole!!!

The Giants are not good, at all, and they are oooooold. But they'd still sweep the '03 Tigers in a best-of-seven.
