    I have fantasy reasons.

    But your point is taken.

The listless Twins don't even look interested in trying to finish above .500.

Wright just picked up another error -- his 19th of the year. He is a fantastic third baseman, who can make ridiculous plays look easy. But the one thing in his game he needs to work on his consistency.

And Scott Bloweneweis throws the ball away. Douche.

Is Hughes in your way? It looks like he's going to get his soon.

  4. and J-Roll goes yard to make it 6-0. This team is the ultimate tease.

Indeed. Would like to see all four of these score on his dime...

Plus, it's always good to see the Yankees lose...

That's going to be a tough one. Phils have plenty of outfielders and need pitching. Badly. While Rowand has been great this year, it might be better to try and invest that money in arms and hope Victornio can give you close to what Rowand did this year, at a fraction of the cost.

Because Rowand is getting PAID at the end of the year.

There's never a bad time for a Yankees implosion. You're definitely right.

And any time the Mets want to play some defense, I'd be OK with it. Jesus. One error after another, then a mental mistake. Get it together, boys.

  8. I do forget that Jayson Werth has been pretty damn solid in right and left and Bourn can play either corner, Dobbs can give the Phils some left. But you are right, they need arms like R. Kelly needs to be under the jail.

God darn it, Wright. Get your shit together. These are the fucking Nationals.

Don't make me watch the Eagles. ...

So, the Mets are going to continue to look like shit ... until the exact second I start to believe the Phils might actually have a shot at catching them.

That's how this is going to work, I'm sure.

OK. I've had enough. When the Nationals have an eight-run lead, I'll watch football.

Ten errors for the Mets in the last two games -- from 77 to 87. Wow.
