In other matches -- big win for Safina. How many match points did she fight off against Cornet?

    Bizarre challenge from Berdych.

    I think he's lost it.

We get a fourth set, and it's commercial free.

So that means no more John Turturro Heineken ads for at least 45 minutes.

Aren't those the wierdest things? I mean other than Chris Paul and his sexy pits.

Berdych just did a nice job saving two big break points there. That would have been huge for Federer.

Does Berdych regain that challenge since the replay was not available?

And he loses the game anyway. He's imploding now. If I could put money on Federer I would absolutely do it right now.

He's losing his rag, and I think it's because he's tired.

He spent so much getting up two sets, he looks knackered, and his body language is saying he's had it.

And yes, I believe he does get the challenge opportunity back. Not that it'll be worth much now.

No question, Roger wins this match.

That match made me ill. I'm a big fan of Cornet -- she's a terrific young talent with (it seems) a great attitude and she's tons of fun to watch -- and to watch it get away after she was serving for the match was tough. I really thought she was ready to put that away and make a run to the final.

Roddick is rolling right now, about to go up two sets.

Well Cornet was the youngest lady left, so you can chalk some of those jitters to inexperience. I was impressed though with what I saw of her.
