Do the movie stars arrive by limousine? Are kids selling plastic roses for a buck?

Unless Vince Gill decided to show up in the “away” gym (the campuses are two miles apart in Nashville) then negative.

Lipscomb (sadly) wins on a last-second basket to break a long losing streak in the series and induce possibly the first court storming of the week-old season. Growing up, these schools played 2-4 times a year as perennial Top 5 NAIA schools and got nearly as much coverage as Vandy hoops on the 10:00 news. A good old fashioned Baptist vs. Church of Christ grudge match.

Rick Byrd is in the Hall of Fame, right? Sure as hell should be. All the guy did was win 25 games a year. No matter the level.

Inducted last year, and deservedly so. Lipscomb’s greatest coach, Don Meyer, doesn’t get the same recognition because he was from the NAIA era. Still compiled more than 900 wins and the 1986 NAIA championship.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a baseline inbound play like that

My youth basketball teams used pretty much that exact play every game for 20+ years.
