Woods with a three-shot lead after 54 holes. Birdies No. 1 to start final round. Won’t finish tonight. Maybe 9 holes then 9 to finish tomorrow.

A win would be No. 82 to tie Snead all-time.

If he closes the deal, will be interesting to see how a record-tying win is played in the media up against football. Casual fans have long checked out of golf for the year.

Woods's name grabs eyeballs 365 a year. He'll get pretty big play.

Of course. But it's not the same as winning stateside in the summer. And though it would be a 100 percent legit win (especially if you look at some of Snead's wins), it's still a no-cut cash grab event in Asia. Just playing devil's advocate.

This might draw a decent ratings number. End of afternoon NFL games before the night game. Tiger playing seven holes. Only a 90-minute commitment or so.

The Golf Channel living up to their reputation of making this broadcast miserable.
Have showed more commercials than actual play in the first 45 minutes.

Keegan seems to have gotten rid of some of his tics.

    Yes, but still takes forever.
Quit spinning the club and hit the ball.

Woods closes it. Most impressive part was playing 29 holes on Saturday.

Wow, win against a strong field. This wasn't some small invitational in the Bahamas. (I know not a full field, but still pretty large).

It counts the same as any "stateside in the summer" tournament. And for years the Tour was criticized for not taking more events globally. They do, and now you guys try to diminish the victory somehow.

Woods turns 44 in December. Looked as good as he’s looked since the Masters. Wonder how much the knee was an issue last summer before surgery.

It’s always going to be about his health for however long he continues. With three wins, including a major, in 13 months, he can definitely add to his totals.

Maybe grab another major or two. Get to 87-90 wins.

Chance to be a top-4 American and make the Olympic team. Which he says he really wants to do. I’m sure the Olympic committee and tv execs are pulling for that too.
