    According to the history of the area, the Old White was named for White Sulphur Springs. So you can give your white guilt a break.

    I pay attention to what's said and written about golf as much as anyone. I think everyone understood the name of the course was in reference to the name of the town, White Sulphur Springs. If there's anything racial about that, you're the one interjecting it.

    The truth hurts. The golf world loves to try to create a rivalries (remember when Spieth, Day and Rory were the new Big 3?) but this isn't one yet.

    I stood on the first tee of that course and thought I might shoot 127.

    Amazing that a caddie wouldn't know that rule, even if it's a new one. It's well-documented that the players -- young and old, male and female -- mostly don't know the rules.
