Ahem. There are plenty who would care. Trust me. Been there, done that.

That said, the C-USA tournament will be another sad affair as above. It is being held in the Cowboy's practice facility in Frisco, Texas. Two courts on the field with a big curtain between them. If you choose your seat right, you can watch (?) two games at once. Conference stretches from ODU in Va. to Miami to El Paso. Half the conference is in Texas, and the conference office is conveniently close to Frisco. It's too damn far for most people, and at least to my mind it's half-assed and rinkydink to boot, the way they're doing it. And yes, when the home team goes out early the tournament games are empty.

Thing about the Big West is, aside from Davis and Hawaii, all schools are no more than a three-hour drive from Anaheim.

Looks as if Carolina won't be making that magical run through the ACC tournament. Probably a perfect year for the Heels to fail, no one will remember with all the other stuff going on in college basketball/athletics in general.

If no one is bringing up the NIT, it really is the Not Important Tournament.

Hard to see how they can have the NIT this year, since it involves so many games at host sites.

So, UVa remains the defending champs in the 2020-2021 season.

If there's anything good about this shutdown, this is it.

Makes for a good trivia question.

Another favorite: who last won the third place game?

And what event marred that day?
