Pretty fucked up. You win ... AT FUCKING RUPP ... you should get to finish the season before they kick you to the curb.

He impregnated a cheerleader. This has nothing to do with Ws and Ls.

Would be a helluva scandal if this was in Bloomington, Louisville, Lexington ... but Evansville might as well be on the other side of the moon.

They're only a borderline tourney team this year, but Tennessee couldn't have picked a better time for its game at Kansas.

It'll be interesting if either Boston paper sends somebody out there for this given McCarty's time with the Celtics as a talisman for fans of a mediocre team. Probably not, but the Globe might send Bob Hohler.

The suspensions were soft. Only two players on each team. Big 12 didn't have the balls to suspend everybody who left the bench because that would have left two teams with weakened -- if not vacant -- rosters in advance of Saturday's Big 12-SECessionist Challenge.

De Sousa should’ve been done for the season. He not only started it by standing over and taunting a guy in a 21-point win, he then escalated it by throwing the first punches. Instead, he’ll be back right in time for the postseason. Convenient.

Unfortunately ... that sums it up.

And there's no way a coach should finish a season with an issue of this magnitude.

FWIW, Bill Self issued an "indefinite" suspension. Whether he decides to lift it some time around March 10 or not remains to be seen.

I suspect he announced the "indefinite" punishment because the conference hadn't said anything yet and he was feeling the heat. In order to fill the vacuum, he did the "indefinite" thing with the understanding that it would be superseded by the official league pronouncement.

Pregnant cheerleader or not, the return of Todd Lickliter brings an incredible financial opportunity.

Bet against Evansville in every game.
Bet the under in every game.

Last night: Drake covered by 16 and the game went under by 9.

    You're welcome.
