Didn’t see that anyone had started one. Holy Christmas is the slate tonight awesome for the kickoff: Kansas/Duke; Michigan State/Kentucky, the top four teams in the poll!

And the ACC making the brilliant decision of having everyone except Duke open with a conference game ...

It’s Duke’s conference, you only get to watch it. When Krzyzewski Started at Duke he went after Dean Smith’s control of the conference. Now General Krzyzewski is more powerful in the conference than Dean Smith ever was.

And no one has made more money on the backs of unpaid labor in North Carolina since reconstruction than St Mike.

Yep. For one thing, it's hard to jam 20 games between Jan. 1 and March 7 or whatever. For another -- and this is the big one -- having conference games and putting some of them on the ACC Network puts pressure on Comcast to carry the channel.

    And how bad is Clemson?
Brad Brownell's massive extension a couple of years back -- when absolutely nobody was clamoring to hire him -- is going to look very stupid in short order.
You cannot lose to the Hokies on your home court. This ain't football.

The Hokies looked way better than I thought they would. Nolley looks like he's going to be a beast and Bede made several gigantic plays down the stretch. They play no one with a pulse until Michigan State in Maui, so that's a really nice win. Alleyne can score a bit too. Hopefully enough secondary scoring emerges that it won't turn into a 2012-13 situation where it's Erick Green and nobody else who can score.

But to your point, no, Clemson should not have lost that game. But maybe Mike Young can coach a little.

I love years when Clemson comes to Chapel Hill.

The Streak is one of my favorite things in college hoops.

There is no coach in college better than Tony Bennett. Some might be as good, but no one is better.

He's great. But Syracuse might be total butt. That was a pathetic shooting performance last night. UVa's defense was good, but not that good.
