DD, if you're begging off the train after just two middling finishes (but both made cuts), I hate to tell you, you might not have the constitution for this ride that some of us have been on since 2010! The Rory roller coaster -- easier for the weaker-stomached among us -- is on the other side of the park in the kids' ride section!

 

Eldrick out in 30 today.

 

And now Woods is 8-under on the day through 12 holes. He’s 9-under overall and tied for 5th.

Having a day so far.

 

Awesome. Now Tiger knows he can be competitive at the Bob Hope Desert Classic.

 

That was his lowest round ever at Sawgrass.

 

Going to be a lot of low scores today. Playing very easy.

Regardless, that’s a tidy 65 for Woods.

 

The non-Webb Simpson event is tight with big names in the mix.

Webb playing out of his mind. White hot.

 

What's the winning score going to be, -25? That's stupid. I'm glad I picked this weekend to repaint the guest bath.

Simpson is going to have to fall down a well for anyone to catch him. Looks like his game plan is conservative. Which should work unless he gets crooked on a couple of holes.

I do prefer watching these guys grind out pars over birdie binges. But there are a helluva lot of great golf shots out there.

Woods playing very well again. Great weekend (so far) after nearly missing the cut.
