I’ll take DeChambeau’s Ty Webb hat over Dustin Johnson’s 30-year-old wigger model.

    Bubba

330 off the tee may be hitting first.

Yet it's a course where those guys might only want to hit driver a half-dozen times, maybe less. Sawgrass gives Bubba fits; he has never finished higher than T37.

Guys are mauling the course today for the most part. Tiger and Phil haven't put on much of a show.

Such a fun tournament to watch.

"Tiger Woods, Totally Average Professional Golfer" is going to take some getting used to, but that's what he is. Even that's pretty impressive. But the Valspar hysterics seem a little embarrassing now.

I wish he’d have a pharmaceutical sponsor and wear the Ambien logo.

Still think it's a bit early to make a call on Woods. Is being an average Tour pro the most likely outcome? Probably. But considering where he was nine months ago, the progress is very good.

Maybe he will be a guy who makes cuts and gets in the mix once in awhile. But he's shown he still has all the shots if he can put it all together.

And just after I wrote that he doinks his tee shot into the water on 18. Oy.
