To Montero's credit, he jumped on the phone with the afternoon show to talk about it.

Did any callers accuse Montero of trolling Arrieta?

Wild bottom half of the seventh inning in Chicago, where no runs were scored. The wind is howling at U.S. Cellular and the skies opened up into a monster downpour early in the inning. White Sox popped up three balls, none of which were caught (one was in foul territory, the other two dropped in). White Sox managed to load the bases, but Green got out of it by striking out Frazier in a seven-pitch at-bat.

I don't know what their other options are, but how long can the Cubs continue to run John Lackey out there?

Are you saying that he should be.... put out to pasture?
Is there anyone else jockeying for the position?
He is definitely in the homestretch of his career.

There is more than one starting pitcher on the Cubs who is struggling? Who knew? :)
