German Shepherds can't eat chocolate.

 

I had a miniature schnauzer who jumped up on my bed and took one of those oversized novelty chocolate kisses off my nightstand. Ate more than half of it. We just assumed he was going to die. He just stared at us with his big bushy beard stained brown, probably wondering why my entire family was freaking out as we wondered if we should've induced vomiting or taken him to the animal hospital. He never puked. Never acted sick. Was fine for another five years. The look on his face when I caught him with a 6-inch-wide chocolate kiss, the flecks of tin foil in his beard is one I'll never forget, though. It was like I'd caught him jerking off.
