I think this one fits as a kickoff. An assistant professor of African-American studies at Princeton opines that in reality it's conservatives who are the bullies and liberals the victims on college campuses.

Certainly a provocative and out-of-mainstream viewpoint.

    USC, you're on the clock!
Despite sketchy connections at best, USC's horse mascot Traveler is coming under fire because its name is close to the one Robert E. Lee's horse had. Never mind that they're spelled different, the original Traveler had his name before becoming the USC mascot or before his owner bought him, or that there has never been any political connection associated with the horse, TRAVELER MUST DIE!!!

Traveler, USC's mascot, comes under scrutiny for having a name similar to Robert E. Lee's horse

Traveler's going to need to stand in front of a microphone and make it absolutely clear he's not a Nazi or Confederate sympathizer ...

Will throw this on the politics thread, too. Too good not to share.

Is this another Title IX issue? Travelette demands equal treatment.

Oops, I just remembered I started a similar thread about liberal language. Never mind

Here's the thing. This has nothing to do with electoral politics. This is because an unqualified person was put in a decision making job. My guess is this was because of nepotism, old school ties, attractiveness or occasionally financial corruption.
