Didn't Clemson beat ND? How are they even in the picture, they're not 'Bama.

I'm trying to figure out Bama's best win. A&M?

Reminder: these votes are just placeholders. They mean nothing. It'll all sort itself out to four of the five power conference champs and one real sore loser, just like last year.

Can't argue with the top 4, at this point. Obviously one of those four will move down next week.

And if both Notre Dame and, say, Stanford have one loss, that also will be sorted out on the field.

Once again, an unbeaten Big 12 champ could be the wildcard this season.

Might be Wisconsin, whose other loss is to unbeaten Iowa.

I'll guess the Final Four will be:

    1. Clemson
    2. LSU
    3. Big 10 winner (OSU/MSU/Iowa)
    4. Oklahoma State

I'm guessing the "eye test" is a major element here. Because you can't really say Alabama's resumé is better than Florida's.

Florida's loss is by 7 on the road against No. 2 (arguably the best loss of any team in the country). And they won by 28 over the team that beat Alabama (which is arguably the best win of any team in the country).

And yeah, Notre Dame lost to Clemson ... by 2 ... on the road. They've also got wins over two one-loss teams (Navy & Temple).

If you're going to pick an SEC & Big 12 winner, why not pick a Big Ten winner?

Because I have no idea which one will win.
