Spurs-Cavs is great, 4 minutes to go.

Diaw and Varejao playing like gods.

John Wall will never be a great player, he's just not very smart and too quick to shoot. He may be able to score but he's not a deft shot

Ginobili makes the first but misses the second, 92-90, and LeBron starts to rush it up with 9 seconds to go ... but loses the ball trying to cross over at midcourt, and that's that.

Brandon Knight misses a wide-open breakaway layup with a second left in a tie game at the end of overtime. Then makes a three at the end of second overtime to force a third. Bucks beat Nets in third OT.

Parker 23 pts and 7 rebounds, Antetekounmpo 18 and 12. Couple of pretty good 19-year-olds.

Dwight's knee hurted so he sat out at home. Kobe scores 29 and Lakers win back-to-back road games to move to 3-9. Rockets fall to 9-3.

Next 15-20 games will be interesting for the Lakers now that Young is back.

Duncan looked very slow at times guarding Sideshow Bob, but when it counted, he made the plays. The backdoor pass to Manu was great. Love can't guard a real 5 in the post and really isn't a good weak side defender. Makes you appreciate Bosh.

For as great as Diaw was, when the game had to be won, Parker on the wing fed Duncan at the elbow, and Duncan fed Manu down low for the layup.

Cleveland will be fine. It'll take them 25-30 games just to start understanding each other. It's really about how Irving matures and takes the reins of the offense. Last night was a great example of LeBron not doing what he had to do the first time in Cleveland: be Mr. Everything. You can see what he's doing this time. It's not going to be LeBron and the Gang. It's going to be the Cavaliers, who happen to have LeBron James. They can't win if he has to bail them out every night. They need Kyrie Irving to be an All-Star point guard. They need Kevin Love to be an All-Star forward. They need Varajao to be the hustlinglest hustler in all of hustlerville -- and he is. He was the hardest working worker bee on the court last night. They need a few other pieces to fall into place but it's clear that LeBron is not going to bail the team out for 82 games. It's almost refreshing to see the Cavs having to work through their growing pains as a team. Granted, LeBron has averaged 32 in their 5 wins and in the low-20s in their 5 losses. Last night he scored 15 -- and 8 were in the first quarter. Cleveland is finding itself. It'll take 40 games for the engine to rev at full speed. After that the Cavs will flourish.

Last night's game felt like June in November.

Cavs at Wizards is pretty strong thru a quarter. ESPN.

And Paul Pierce is a Wizard.

Haven't paid attention much to the Wiz this season but their bench is ripe with vets: Pierce, Humphries, and the 9th-best assist man ever, Andre Miller. Built for the playoffs.
