the Ford family have been reluctant to fire even the most deserving. Matt Millen and Wayne Fontes come to mind as examples within the last twenty years. I can't believe that the family will move now with the team showing improvement after being a joke for a decade.

Fontes worked miracles there, compared to the job done by others (Mornhinweg, Mooch, Marinelli).

Gunther Cunningham was the Chiefs' defensive coordinator during the Monday Night Meltdown in 1998, one of the most infamous lack-of-composure displays of the modern era. As the Broncos marched to the final touchdown in an easy victory, the Chiefs were called for five personal fouls, three by Derrick Thomas, and all of them looked fairly intentional. A few weeks later and largely because of that incident, the Chiefs fired Marty Schottenheimer ... and promoted Cunningham to head coach.

Did Florio report that? Or did Florio report that someone else was reporting that someone else was reporting.....?

Florio and Peter King said that last Sunday night. Is Florio recycling his own material?

I get the sense some of these teams might be after the same guy and want to get a jump on the competition.

Who are the hotshot assistants who teams are going to be after?

    Jay Gruden?
    Rob Ryan?
    Winston Moss?
    Mike Zimmer?
    Perry Fewell?

Am I the only one who can't understand why Rob Ryan keeps getting mentioned as a head coaching candidate? An overrated blowhard if there ever was one.
