    Looks like we're going to get the western edge of it here on the Mississippi Coast, which means wind and rain but probably not much storm surge. Still, it's times like these that I'm glad my neighbor directly to the south built an 8-foot brick wall all the way around his property.

    There's a tropical storm warning covering the area where I live. Went to the grocery store this morning and stocked up on red wine.

    As of this morning, looks like it's Destin's day in the barrel, via Marathon. Tampa Bay probably won't get hit, but spend plenty of time in the wettest quadrant. Not great protesting weather.

    The models right now seem to have it headed straight for New Orleans and staying over water as it scrapes past Cuba.

    Don't forget, Katrina was a Category 3 at landfall. Isaac should be at least a 2.
