I'm tied for first. So are the Mets.

    Hmmm, which will fail first?

The bigger question is which will fail in the most dramatic fashion?

  4. I enter this season knowing this is the last chance for the Twins to win a World Series before the Kansas City juggernaut takes over baseball for the next decade or two.
I know it will happen, because Joe Poz told me so.

Spring has arrived in the SF Bay Area and the Giants are the defending WS Champs. Nothing but hope for the next 6 mos. Looking forward to the journey.

Am I the only one who gets emotional on Opening Day? And not because I'm a Cubs fan? Can't help it, I always cry.

And the Yankees take the field.

The MLB Extra Innings package is offered as a free preview thru 4/10, so tune into your favorite team:

Opening Day was a bigger thrill for me when there seemed to be a big empty period between the Super Bowl and Opening Day (60s-70s). Not so much these days with more golf on TV, more NBA (no more tape-delayed Finals), and more college basketball.

Jason Heyward homers in his first at-bat of the season for the second straight year. I wonder how many guys have done that their first two years in the bigs?
