With no Eldrick this week, who does everybody like? Give me Anthony Kim.

I'll take apathy versus the field.

Fine. I don't care. You win.

I think it will be a first-time major winner, but not necessarily an expected one (i.e. Scott, Kim, etc.)

    I'll take Hunter Mahan

History suggest a grinder wins at Oakland Hills. Major winners there are Hogan (ultimate grinder), Player, David Graham, Gene Littler, Andy North and Steve Jones.

Steve Stricker, anyone? Woody Austin? Scott Verplank? Paul Goydos?

If he wins, does he get a big hug from Azinger after the 72nd hole?

Not if he keeps spouting the BS that he did to Golf magazine, such as the PGA of America doesn't care about winning the Ryder Cup and that the players are "treated like slaves" that week.
That, from a guy who's never played in one.

So just John and I on the Cink bandwagon? C'mon. There's gotta be someone else on board with this pick, right? There's just gotta be.

Stewart Cink -- he returns to the site of his first major appearance.
