Nope, not even on TV. Heard he's been pretty good, however, and has been more than just a crash-and-banger.

I haven't read it, but I live it nearly every day, JR...

Good to know I'm not crazy, Fly, but when I saw that name on the list, I really did a double take.

I can think of plenty of American U20's who are better, starting with Minnesota's Alex Kangas.

Kangas is too old for the WJC this year. He's a 1987 DOB, and no player born in '87 (or earlier) is eligible.

The 1988 and 1989 group of American goalies is rather weak.

    Guess that explains him, then.

John Tavares only had five shifts in the game against the Czechs. Five shifts. Two goals. Not bad.

And the other 17 year old Stamkos assisted on all three Canuck goals.

Canada vs the Slovaks this morning at 9:30 a.m on TSN. Broadband available

Mais oui, Fen. There are two players born in 1990 on the Team Canada roster. That's the year I could legally drink.

1-0 Canada over the Slovaks after two.

The European refs are brutal. Lay a hit on someone and you're called for something: boarding, high sticking.

Like McGuire said, he got 2 minutes for being strong.

The game is just reffed differently over there. I will say, though, that it varies from country to country. In Britain, the game is played and reffed a lot more like North America, and at least when I was there, there were quite a few Canadiens playing in the league.

Damn, I can't stay awake. Going to try for this period, though.

Sooooo ... if that glove save is indicative of the first two periods, Hudacek has been the Slovaks' best player.
