    Good rumors reverberate. Some even resonate.

    I was at a GnR show where Axl threw a hissy fit and refused to go on, causing a near riot. That's the most scared I've ever been.

    The juice wasn't worth the squeeze even back then (early 2000s). No way is it worth risking anything with that head case now.

    I don't think either of the 3 (Alex, Eddie, DLR) would let it get to that point.
    It's not like they're doing it for the money.
    Eddie has set little Wolfgang up for life so that he couldn't possibly fuck off the money he's made.

    "Little" Wolfie looks like Tony Siragusa up there.

    I just saw Slash two weeks ago. He was great.

    If G 'n' R tours I'm all in. That would be amazing. It may be completely horrible, but I'll be there. I don't think Axl has anything approaching the range he had, but I'm still in.

    And really, the older bands range a lot. I've got the Stones' new live recording of "Sticky Fingers" and they sound great. I've seen Cheap Trick twice in the last couple of years and they're still terrific.

    The recent Van Halen live album is beyond horrible.

    They're doing it for the money.

    And DLR would do casinos in a heartbeat.

    Some guitar-freak friends of mine tell me:
    1) Eddie's recent playing sounds like he's got his fingers taped together;
    2) Wolfie is actually good on bass, maybe too good; he does a lot of showy rollercoaster stuff common to frustrated lead guitarists temporarily shunted off to bass;
    3) Dave's singing is just raw screeching and yowling at this point. And he doesn't have the power to screech and yowl well any more.

    Saw VH on the previous tour, and it was kind of sad. DLR was a complete caricature. And unless Axl gets into shape and quits smoking, I'm out. The one-off show they did (at the MTV awards, I think it was), I thought he might die before they got through the short set. And he sounded awful before he started gasping for air.

    All four of those are good descriptors of my farts, which also tend to resonate.

    I'd like to see Axl and Meat Loaf huffing through a duet. Last one standing gets a cookie.

    The mention of GnR reminds me of the current "Talk is Jericho" podcast where he's talking to Doc McGhee, manager of Kiss, Bon Jovi, and Motley Crue among others during the recent Kiss Cruise.

    At one point, Jericho mentions that McGhee had been asked to manage GnR, when McGhee was putting up with the shenanigans of the Crue during their peak. McGhee said he told the GnR guys, "I'm already dealing with three heroin addicts, why would I want to take on five more?"
