How huge would this be? Part of me wants to see it for the sake of nostalgia. Then again, are any of these ancient touring shit shows - Van Halen, the Stones, Motley Crue - really worth seeing? It would be like putting the 1989 Detroit Pistons together now. None of these fat, old fucks are what they were. The only one who can still bring it consistently in a live performance from what I've seen is Springsteen.

Would have been OK 10 years ago. Not so much now. Based on what I've heard, Axl can no longer do the singing.

Van Halen is a shell of it's former self.
DLR is old, Wolfgang isn't old enough, no Michael Anthony, no Hagar, but Alex and Eddie are still golden.

Maybe they could replace Axl with John Daly.

The main reason to see the ancient rocker shows is specifically for nostalgia sake.

Some can still bring it (McCartney comes immediately to mind for me); some are truly relics of their former selves (Mick and Keef and the boys) and you're going for historical purposes, where you're really better off listening to the records to truly enjoy their craft at its highest arc.

With that said, because GNR had such a short shelf life, this would certainly be interesting. Interesting to see Duff, Slash and Izzy on the same stage.

But, my guess whould be somehow Axl throws one of his trademark tizzys a couple shows into the tour and poof, it's gone.

Given Axl's physique maybe they could re-brand as Gunts 'n Roses.

    That didn't stop Bon Jovi.
