Roy Scheider dies at 75

    One of the great underrated actors of all time. Nobody ever said, let's go check out the new Roy Scheider film, but damn has he been in a ton of great ones.

    The scene in Jaws where he has been fired and is cheered up by his young "son"'s mimicry of him is one of the great "little" scenes in movies.

    I found this part of the obit interesting:

    I always though his face looked ridiculously "leathery" at a relatively young age.

    I guess if you think about it it makes sense, but I didn't realize he was that old.

    He did an episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent last year in which he played a serial rapist and drew in Goren to eventually let him know that he could actually be his father.
    It was absolutely creepy, and he certainly still had a very good ability to own the scenes he was in. I had no clue he was that old.
    RIP.
