The gloat-fest on Fox News has already begun.

  4. Yadda-yadda.
Scooter Libby's having a nice morning, I'm sure.
    Sing out, Irving.

Ah, I was hopeful, but I knew it wouldn't happen....kind of like hearing through a friend of a friend of a friend that you're the type of guy Winona Ryder would want to go out with.

Trust me, you're not missing anything.

I, however, was missing my wallet the next morning.

Yeah, but look at the bright side.

If you marry her, you can have one of those wives that love to go shopping, and it won't cost you a dime.

  8. “Does not anticipate seeking charges”

That's the "tell" from the NYT story.
In this context, “Does not anticipate seeking charges” = "Sing, Karl, or I'll Change My Mind."
    Scooter's day just got worse.

UPDATE: He's still got the same playbook, though.

"They may be with you for the first few bullets but they won't be there for the last tough battles."
-- Karl Rove, on John Kerry and John Murtha, Reuters, 6/13.
Yeah, not like Karl was, back when he was taking a student deferment while not enrolled anywhere.
