I can't recommend enough avoiding the complete fuckitude that is Branson. However, because you apparently can't be dissuaded, at least stop on the way and have the throwed rolls at Lambert's. Your neck will be redder for it.

Lambert's, which I believe is in Ozark, just south of Springfield, was one of the best meals I've ever had.

You're not stopping a the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, are you?

Lamberts was discussed - a friend of mine went there and brought me two candles from there as a gift. Those candles still smell wonderful, they're too cute to burn (look like big cinnamon rolls.)

I wasn't planning at stopping at Bass Pro Shop, but things can change.

    Why?

It's incredibly boring, so I was hoping you didn't have to go. Of course, you could be an avid fisherwoman and, in that case, you'd love it.

Are you talking the BPS mothership in Springfield or the BPS at Branson Landing?

The one in Springfield is a half-day excursion. It's just too damned big. The one on the Landing is much smaller, and would work better if people on your trip need/want to buy gifts for family members.

If we stop there, it wil be one of those spur of the moments stops, I'm guessing.

Just got the mail and my Zune transmitter is here, yay!! I have to leave for town here pretty soon, so I'm going to test it out.

Well, in about 24 hours or so, I should be on the road.

I have a 12-13 hour day at work today and I have nothing done for this trip.

    *sigh*

And I found out the hotel doesn't have coffeemakers in the rooms.

    *double sigh*

    Wish me luck. ;)

I've lived south of I-94. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Oh sure, but you have to live west of 23 for it to be that way.
