    It's been years, but I hit a few of the annual Gatherings of the Tribe when I was younger.

    I'm at the point now that the only way I'd go to another one would be in an RV. But then I'd be stuck near A Camp, where all the trouble happens.

    Greetings from stormy Des Moines, Iowa.

    Got here about 45 minutes ago and it is STORMING. I just looked out the window and there is a massive lake forming in the hotel parking lot and the rain is coming down in sheets. At least the thunderboomers have subsided somewhat.

    I know my truck needed the splatted bugs washed off, but this is a little ridiculous.
