Alright folks, some of us are doing it wrong. For those of you with one total guess, let's do it this way:

One guess for the jug, and one guess for the pot. We can have a third category for the total.

Total..........3288.00

 

OK, I am going to assume that we have a five-gallon water jug and a 16-quart stock pot.

There are 3,785 ml in a gallon and about 20% of air gaps in the piled quarters.

That considered, I am going to say you have 15,160 quarters or $3,790.

$2,501.50 in the bottle
$1,288.50 in the stock pot

$3,790 total

 

I'd be stunned if there's much more than $2,000, but the quarters definitely add up quickly. But it's clear I'm way too low. Is this like the Price is Right, where the closest without going over wins? If so, I'll change my bid to $1.
