But won't Pettitte testify that he & Clemens discussed Clemen's steroid use?

Prediction: he'll be convicted of lying and sentenced to community service.

But some of the testimony could be interesting, shed additional light on the whole sordid steroid mess.

I wonder how many millions the feds spent (wasted) on this case.

My prediction: Roger is going to get a change of venue and the trial will be moved to Orlando where a jury will acquit him of all charges.

  7. It will be like a Yankees Old Timers Game. Stanton, Canseco, Knoblauch, Pettitte. And, the Ghost of Joe DiMaggio will still insist on being called last.

And, it's no coincidence that none of those players was at the recent Yankees Old Timer's Day.

(Maybe Stanton was, but I don't think so.)

Always love Bill Madden's in-print recitals of the roster of apparant Yankee offenders.

    Legions of them.

If it's a House deposition, it's a public record. Someone probably needs to FOIA it. Though you might not get it until the trial is over.

Homer Bush apparently isn't available to testify.

Stanton wasn't at Old Timer's Day. Neither was Paul O'Neill or Scott Brosius. Maybe it's just a coincidence.
