    So ... wonder how many papers were planning on putting Roger on their cover but then after he really stunk it up, he moved inside? Or does he deserve front-page mention just for the sheer fact he's made a triumphant return?

    he'll probably still be front page. his return itself is the story. the writers' angles wil just depend on how well he does in terms of pitch count, endurance, etc.
