I don’t think I ever got over my grandmother’s death when I was a kid. My grandmother died from a heart attack during my ninth birthday party. Literally while she was eating cake. And I guess that must have screwed me up a little bit. I mean, I still have birthday parties. But now I’m just careful what I wish for.

Why are Bill O'Reilly and Trump still alive if hatred kills?

Roger Ailes and Fatty ARbuckle. Separated at birth?

Both vile humans who preyed on women.

I hate Fox News, perhaps more than anyone I can imagine knowing, and I find Ailes to be a predatory and despicable human being.

To pretend that Ailes and his network didn't shape the American landscape is pollyannish, privileged-liberal-head-in-the-sand nonsense.

So, yes, Roger Ailes was a titan of the news industry. Perhaps the titan of the last quarter century.

Is there anybody here claiming that Roger Ailes and Fox News did not change America's landscape?

Whatever Ailes was a titan of, it sure as fuck wasn't "the news industry."

Who is pretending this? It is the precise reason people hate him.

With all of the hypotheticals and strawmans on this thread, you'd think Colin Cowherd was posting here.

Aren't we being the opposite of pollyannaish? Bill O. and Hannity are being pollyannaish.
