    Good old fashioned middle-America value meals.

    Ohio is not in the Midwest so this column is off base from the get-go.

    Ohio is somewhere between New Jersey and Nevada, correct?

    Ohio certainly is in what's considered the Midwest. Maybe you're thinking of Pennsylvania.

    I went to high school near there. The goofball thing was to drive up their long driveway. For some odd reason, the owners of the house really didn't enjoy us dropping by.

    Our church had a stained glass window dedicated to the Clutters.

    To be fair, Smith wasn't raised in Kansas (Nevada, Alaska, Calif.) The other murderer had an old head injury and was raised in Olathe, KS. Olathe is like the east coast to Holcomb.

    Middle America valves.

    Sloan Valves is right there in Franklin Park, Illinois. They make the Regal and Royal lines of manual and automatic flushometers.
