    Sounds very fishy, yes.

Is ESPN going to even acknowledge that a suit has been filed against the quarterback of the defending Super Bowl champion? Fishy or no, it IS news.

Turns out McNulty had to seek psychiatric help because of a fictitious ex-boyfriend who was killed in action overseas.

We can put this one to bed, folks.

    Bitch is crazy.

Florio (who has been mashing this story) tweeted he's going to be on Fox News with Shepard Smith to talk about this lawsuit.

Yet, nothing from The Worldwide Leader in Sports!?! Maybe Mort hasn't "learned" about it yet.

Didn't something like this happen to Jerome Bettis also?

Or, he doesn't have to sexually assault anyone because they're throwing themselves at him.
Sorry, but this smacks of a scorned woman.

If it turns out to be total BS, Roethlisberger should countersue for defamation of character.

The timing stinks. To quote Clint Eastwood from High Plains Drifter: "Wonder what took her so long to get mad."

I have serious doubts about this woman's story, too, but I really hate that argument. Yes, Roethlisberger is probably getting all the action he could possibly want, but rape is an act of violence and it should be taken seriously even if this story does turn out to be bullshit. Guys don't become rapists just because they aren't getting any.

I agree, but we have a guy with no real criminal history against a woman with six aliases who was in love with a non-existent U.S. soldier.

It's pretty clear where the benefit of the doubt should be given in this situation.

If there's no criminal complaint, there's no evidence. No DNA. No fluids, etc. It becomes her word against his. That's going to be extremely difficult to prove.
