I hope Michigan catches every bit of the hell, and more, that Arkansas just got.

  3. If Michigan wants a coach who is about gimmicks on offense, can't win the big games, and tries to act all superior to the media.... enjoy him Ann Arbor.

They won't, because it's common for a college to land another college coach prior to bowl games. It's quite another for a coach for quit with three games left in the regular season, NFL or otherwise.

And didn't Michigan hire John Beilein away from the Mountaineers only eight months ago?

But they tried everything under the sun to lure five coaches away from their teams, including Miles before the damned national title game.

And yes, they also stole Beilein.

Indeed. This helped push Huggy Bear to West Virginia... and likely saved K-State from a few years of NCAA probation in the process.

I don't remember Arkansas getting any shit for what it did. I remember Petrino getting shit...and fans being warned...but I don't think the school was ever lambasted for anything.

It was getting ridiculed pretty hard for a while.

Well I, for one, am glad to see him coming. He's a big name coach -- Bill Martin was bound and determined to mess this search up bad enough so a second-rate coach got this job.

I love this hire, BTW. Love it. Much rather have him in Ann Arbor than Les Miles.
