Rocky V Alert!!!!!

It's hard to gauge the worst acting in this movie -- Stallone, Stallone's kid or Morrison. Tough call.

 

I actually really liked this movie after I first saw it.

(Pause here for everyone to laugh and throw things).

But I was seduced by the atmosphere in the theater. I had won tickets from the local radio station, and went to the fan premiere at Mann's Chinese Theatre. Stallone was there, waving to the crowd, the local radio guys (who sucked) were hosting and I had never won free tickets before. Shit, I was 15 and hated Rocky IV.

Now . . . . yeah, it's bad. I dislike Simmons' joke about how it never happened, since again, at least it wasn't a shameless music video like No. IV. But some parts of it are so hilariously cheesy, I can't help but watch it, as I am now.

On a similar note: My local Best Buyhas a three-pack. 15 bucks for bare-bones DVD pack of Rocky I, II and III. Can't beat that.
