    To all applicants and those wondering about the job:

    Jessie and I still are in the process of reviewing materials of all applicants. We just finished covering a state championship in football, so it has been a little busy with just the two of us. Semifinalists will be contacted in the near future, and then we will move on from there. Thanks to everyone for their interest in the position, and we both look forward to speaking with the semifinalists.

    I had a phone interview last weekend, but haven't heard anything back yet -- either way -- at this point.

    Anyone know anything? If I didn't make it to the finals, a Dear John e-mail would be cool.
