I hear things are being held up because of boss men being on vacation.

 

so they haven't even started interviewing yet?

 

No, they're in interviews.

 

That's a shame. In June when I was job hunting, Ben was one of the best guys to deal with, and I was really hoping something would work out with him. Guess I may have dodged a bullet...

 

I talked with a photog of theirs today and he doubts they will fill the spot.

 

Too bad. I interviewed there a couple years ago (on the news side), and it seemed like a good paper with good people.
Interestingly, the process seemed slow that time, too (although for different reasons, I'm sure). But it was a good 2-3 months before I heard from them. I felt bad b/c that was my first choice, but I needed to pay the bills, and had to settle somewhere else.
