    No argument there.

If I recall correctly, the state line runs right down the middle of the main drag through town. At least at one time, the Texas side of the street was wet, the Arkansas side dry.

But it tastes so great going down the hatch.

You got it reversed. The Arkansas side is wet, the Texas side dry. The Arkansas side has all the beer stores, pawn shops, and factories. The Texas side has all the banks, new-car dealerships, and major retail outlets.

Ok, every Canadian bar has Coors Lite but no Coors.

    What's with that?

And Coors Lite is godawful beer.

Probably because regular Coors is worse than the Lite version.

Yes. And if they win the series they go double or nothing on taking out the Red Sox in Interleague play.

Let me help you with that:

Any light beer is godawful beer. Rather like making love in a canoe, actually.

Colorado IS home to better beers than Coors. Fat Tire anyone?

When Molson's introduced Coors Light to Canada they also brewed Coors but it was a major flop and phased out after only a couple of years.

Coors Light, however, is the biggest selling beer in Canada and the brew of choice of idiots like my brother who claims to know more about beer than me.

  11. Coors Light and Miller Lite are good default beers when you are low on funds at the bar. Unfortunately in Texas, it's hard to find Lone Star and Schiltz on tap or in the bottle at "respectable" establishments.

Lone Star....man, they had some good commercials back in the day.
