Cano will be the hottest free agent in MLB history since ARod in 2000. Who will pay the $300 million needed to sign him?

    The Hokaido-Nippon Ham Fighters!

He'll be lucky to get $200m. A second baseman in his 30s ages as well as raw meat left at room temperature.

He might get the per year but he's looking at five years max. He can blame Pujols and Hamilton.

The Dodgers. Money is no object to them.

So he's gonna sign with 5 teams?

Jeter would have signed with 10.

I mention this every time Cano to the Dodgers comes up, but they have an organizational policy not to sign any player past his age 36 season. Cano will be 31 in three weeks.

    End of thread.

I'm thinking he signs on the dotted line tomorrow if he could get 6 years for 180 million.

I picked five options because it told me to. That's a rough schedule, though.

    Travel would be a bitch.

But, if he's getting 10 years and 300 million from each one of them.......
